Perenti chief financial officer Peter Bryant has announced his resignation to take the CFO role at Perth Airport.

Perenti chief financial officer Peter Bryant has announced his resignation to take the CFO role at Perth Airport.
Mr Bryant has been with the Perth-headquartered mining services contractor for more than 11 years, having started as the CFO of Barminco in 2013.
Perenti managing director and chief executive officer Mark Norwell said Mr Bryant had been a valued and highly effective executive.
“I have appreciated his counsel, contribution and support,” he said.
“We understand Peter’s desire to seek a new challenge after more than eleven years with Perenti and wish him all the best with Perth Airport.
“The search for a new CFO will begin immediately. Perenti has an outstanding finance team that Peter helped build, so we expect to have strong internal candidates for the role, along with external candidates.”
In a statement released May 20, Perth Airport chief executive Jason Waters said Mr Bryant would just the team as it gears up for a major development rush.
“Perth Airport is preparing for a wave of expansion projects which will change the face of our airport,” Mr Waters said.
“This will include a new parallel runway, new terminal facilities, two multi-storey carparks and our first airport hotel.
“Peter’s financial leadership skills and experience will ensure we deliver value for our shareholders and efficiencies for our airline partners as we help them grow their businesses."
Mr Bryant said he was excited to join the team.
“Perth Airport is a dynamic business which spans aviation, retail, ground transport and a major property portfolio,” Mr Bryant said.
“Its aviation development plans and strategy to fully utilise its property portfolio will unlock the full potential of the airport and deliver major benefits to the economy, the business sector and the people of Western Australia.
“Perth Airport is a trusted and respected member of the WA business community and its Finance team is widely recognised as a high performance team."
Mr Bryant will continue to serve as CFO during a six-month notice period, and will assist in the search for a replacement CFO.
