Booze wins 303 bronze

PERTH agency 303 has received a bronze award at the Australian Writers and Art Directors Awards in Sydney last week.

The competition is one of the most prestigious creative awards in Australia and New Zealand. 303 are the only Australian agency outside of Sydney and Melbourne to win.

Writer, Lindsay Medalia and art director Ray Van Kempen developed the commercial which uses black humour to deliver its anti drink-driving message. The ad depicts two men sitting at a bar discussing their plans for the night including driving home after drinking too much.

Other WA finalists were Vinten Browning with two nominations for their Centre Care press, 303’s nomination for Giardini’s radio and the Shorter Group’s nomination for their Altos Paints small space press.
