Three Perth-based listed resources companies have today announced additions and changes to their boards, with appointments including John Elkington and Bruce Goulds.

Metals company TNG has appointed mining executive John Elkington as non-executive director and chair.
He replaces Rex Turkington, who has stepped down as interim chair, and remains a board director.
Mr Elkington is the current chair of the Mid West Ports Authority, which operates the Geraldton regional port, and was previously general manager, mining investment governance for metals company Snowden in Perth, and a director of government agency Horizon Power.
TNG managing director Paul Burton welcomed the appointment, noting that Mr Elkington joins at a time of major development for the company’s Mount Peake project.
“We expect that John’s experience in project evaluation, analysis and development together with his connections in Australia and overseas will be valuable as we move ahead with the financing and development of Mount Peake,” Mr Burton said.
“I am confident that John will provide strong, clear and focused Board leadership for the Company.”
Mining company Myanmar Metals has also appointed a non-executive director, bringing Bruce Goulds on board.
Mr Goulds has 30 years of finance and commercial experience, recently including 14 years as chief financial officer of Minerals Resources, led by Chris Ellison.
Previously, he was commercial manager within pooling solutions company Brambles Industries, financial controller and company secretary of Cockburn Corporation and commercial manager for the Australasian operations of international mining equipment manufacturers Svedala Industrii, Metso Minerals and Sandvik.
Mr Goulds holds 1,000,000 shares in Myanmar Metals.
Chair and chief executive of the company John Lamb said Mr Goulds would add considerable operational and financial knowledge to the board.
“Bruce joins Myanmar Metals with an impeccable pedigree demonstrating financial acumen and a strong reputation,” he said.
“His 14 years at Mineral Resources, which has built its business on innovation, leading to lower costs and increased breadth of operations, will bode very well for the company and its shareholders. “
Gold exploration company Nelson Resources has appointed a new chair to its board, introducing Warren Hallam as non-executive chair, and additionally appointing Stephen Brockhurst as non-executive director.
Brett Clark has resigned as a non-executive director, and Peter Cook will step down from the role of chair due to potential conflict with his role as managing director of gold producer Westgold Resources.
Mr Hallam is a metallurgist and mineral economist with technical, managerial and financial experience, predominantly across copper, nickel, tin, gold and iron ore.
He is the current company director of Nelson, a position that he will retain.
He has held a number of board positions, including director with Westgold Resources and Aziana, and managing director of Metals Exploration and Metals X.
Mr Hallam is a current director of Estrella Resources and Kingswest Resources.
He is also company director of Jacka Resources, Bowen Coking Coal, Galena Mining, and Kingsfisher Resources.
