Former Aztec Resources chief executive Peter Bilbe has been appointed to the board of Sihayo Gold as non-executive chairman.
Sihayo is a mineral exploration company with projects in Indonesia, Malawi, India and minor interests in Australia.
In a statement Sihayo said Mr Bilbe brings over 35 years of corporate, operational, and international mining industry experience to the company.
For the past three years Mr Bible has held executive director and non-executive director positions at Mount Gibson Iron, RMA Energy, Aurox Resources, Northern Iron, Independence Group NL and Norseman Gold.
The current chairman, Misha Collins, will remain on the board as a non-executive director.
The current non-executive director, Ian Macpherson, will step down to make way for Mr Bilbe.
