Barnett tight-lipped on Ord lease plan

Amid rumours that a Chinese property conglomerate has won the right to develop land in the second stage of the Ord River expansion in the Kimberley, Premier Colin Barnett says he will not reveal who has won the lease until next week.

This is wrong on so many levels. The Ord River could produce the food bowel of the future, we should be utilizing the imgrants without visas to help create the future in that area and not hand it over to overseas concerns. This is just the tax payer footing the bill every time
