BRW Fast 100

SEVERAL Western Australian IT companies were finalists in the prestigious Business Review Weekly Fast 100.

The BRW recognises entrepreneurship and showcases many of Australia’s fastest growing small and medium enterprises and the people behind them.

Companies included in the Fast 100 are measured and ranked on revenue growth for 2002-03.

The two WA companies featured in the top 10 were electrical cabling and IP telephony company Total Cabling Solutions and Exabit Communication, and Global Dial.

Total Cabling and Exabit was ranked number eight with 165.84 per cent growth and revenue of $2.7 million, while telecommunications carrier Global Dial ranked number 10 with 162.72 per cent growth and revenue of $5.3 million.

Ineedhits.com rank number 11 on the list with growth of 158.46 per cent growth and revenue of $7.3 million.

Also in the top 50 was Pivod Technologies, which was ranked 21 with 94.16 per cent growth and revenue of $3.4 million, while WebSpy ranked 35 with 78.67 per cent growth and revenue of $2.5 million.

Commtech Wireless was ranked 66 (47.37 per cent growth),Vivid Interactive 72 (44.55 per cent growth), ComputerCorp 74 (43.23 per cent growth), Amnet 81 (39.37 per cent growth) and ASG group 87 at (35.65 per cent growth).

Other WA companies from industries such as manufacturing, mining, retail trade, finance and insurance, property and business services were also included in this year’s list.
