All this week, a staff of up to ten are preparing 100 toilets, 200 lighting towers, generators and port-able buildings for the campsite.
An additional forty people are based at the event campsite from 5 August to man the equipment 24 hours a day and clear it all away by the afternoon of 9 August.
Another 100 toilets, light towers, road barricades and buildings are needed in Northam on Friday night.
Avon Descent marketing manager Nick Bruining said other race organisers told him they were stunned by the size, support and sophistication of the WA race.
“We are the envy of other events,” Mr Bruining said.
