THE Asian engineering sector is offering Australian businesses significant export opportunities, according to the Australian Trade Commission, Austrade.
Austrade export adviser Henry Cawte said Austrade had received more than 30 inquiries from Australian businesses relating to new export opportunities identified by Austrade.
“The dominant industry sector was engineering and Asia was the most prominent source of export opportunities during the week,” Mr Cawte said.
Austrade recently received an inquiry from Malaysia for a range of valves, strainers and chemical process systems suitable for oil and gas industry applications valued at $100,000.
