Aquila's Bass donates $723,200 in shares

Aquila Resources non-executive director Charles Bass has donated more than $700,000 worth of shares to various charities.

In a notice to the stock market today, the Bass Family Foundation donated 140,000 Aquila shares, collectively valued at $723,200, to various charities.

Additionally, the foundation pocketed $22,110 from the on-market sale of 4,000 Aquila shares at $5.56.

Following the transactions, Mr Bass held nearly 32.7 million shares.

Shares in Aquila closed up six cents at $5.63 today.
