O’Neill, Rawling join Scottish Pacific
Small business finance provider Scottish Pacific Benchmark has appointed Coral O'Neill and Jason Rawling to newly created relationship management roles in Western Australia. The roles focus on new business development coupled with management of existing client relationships.
Ogden joins Lawfield
Raija Ogden has joined Lawfield Legal Practice as a senior lawyer. Mrs Ogden started her legal career at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and has since worked for both national and Perth-based boutique firms, including Pullinger Readhead Lucas.
Sherwin appoints resources exec
Sherwin Iron has appointed resource industry executive John Berry as general manager, project development on the Roper River Iron Project. Mr Berry most recently held a management position with FerrAus. His previous roles also include contracts manager with Calibre Engenium and commercial manager with Newcrest Mining.
Keys opens Imeka
The founder of STeP Salary Packaging, Julian Keys, has launched a new management consulting firm following the purchase of his former business by a national company. His new venture, Imeka, specialises in organisational design, innovation and change management. Mr Keys is also deputy chairman of Swan Care retirement living.
New executive officer for PGA
The Pastoralists & Graziers Association of WA has appointed Ian Randles pastoral and livestock executive officer. Mr Randles has a long history with the wool and livestock industry, having previously worked for AWTA.
Krebs new metallurgy manager
Greenland Minerals and Energy has appointed Damien Krebs as metallurgy manager for the Kvanefjeld project. Mr Krebs was previously the process study manager at Independent Metallurgical Operations. Mr Krebs will be responsible for metallurgical development for the Kvanefjeld project.
Desal centre appoints CEO
The National Centre of Excellence in Desalination has appointed Neil Palmer as chief executive officer. Mr Palmer, currently the general manager of technical services at Osmoflo, will take up his duties in late October.
Hebble appointed CEO of Foodbank
Greg Hebble, general manager of not-for-profit group Foodbank WA, has been appointed chief executive officer following the retirement of Doug Paling. Mr Hebble brings more than 26 years experience in the grocery industry to the challenge of people in food distress in the community.
Withers opens Mortgage House WA
Shelley Withers, director of Original Financial Services, has opened Mortgage House’s first Western Australian branch in Joondalup. Ms Withers recently moved on from an executive position with the National Trust.
Cooper appointed chairman
Jeff Cooper has been appointed chairman of the community reference group for the proposed state government Royalties for Regions $35 million Broome boating facility. Mr Cooper is the president of the Broome Fishing Club.
