Jetson-Shumbusho joins P&N
Police & Nurses Credit Union has appointed Jill Jetson-Shumbusho as the head of member services. Ms Jetson-Shumbusho’s previous roles include general manager of retail banking in WA for Westpac, state general manager for retail banking in Queensland for BankWest, national general manger for News Limited, News Corporation in Sydney and senior executive roles within Commonwealth Bank’s retail banking division in Sydney.
Mazzella promoted to director
Indian Ocean Advisory Group has appointed Mike Mazzella as a director. Mr Mazzella has worked for Indian Ocean Advisory for more than 10 years. He is experienced in advising family and growing businesses in matters including taxation, superannuation and business planning.
Carey senior mechanical engineer
Metallurgical Engineering Consultants has appointed Michael Carey senior mechanical engineer. Mr Carey has 30 years experience behind him, with experience in equipment selection and procurement, project management and design, inspection and commissioning.
Hooper joins medical research institute
Lesley Hooper has joined Western Australian Institute for Medical Research, taking on the newly-created role of director of fundraising. Ms Hooper previously held the position of fundraising manager of Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
Harper new VenuesWest director
VenuesWest has appointed Steve Harper as director venue operations. Mr Harper is returning from the US where he directed a range of venues including Husky Stadium, Scope Arena and the Harbor Park Baseball Stadium. Mr Harper is one of six Australian members recognized as a certified facilities executive, the industry’s highest certification.
Otan reveals board, managing director
WA property funds management group Otan has appointed Mark Butler (pictured) as its managing director. Mr Butler was previously a founding director and executive director of an ASX listed company overseeing $1.4 billion of property assets across most of Australia. Appointed as chairman of the Otan board is John Nicholas, a former partner at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. David Pringle, a founding director of Pindan, takes on the role of executive director and John Welborn has been appointed as a non executive director. Mr Welborn is the managing director and chief executive officer of Equatorial Resources, and a director of RugbyWA, Prairie Downs Metals, and a commissioner of Tourism WA.
New role for Mutch
Natasha Mutch has been appointed communication manager with the National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority. Ms Mutch previously held the position of manager strategic communication with the WA Department of Fisheries.
