Campbell-Fraser joins CME
The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia has appointed Bruce Campbell-Fraser as executive officer, people strategies portfolio. Mr Campbell-Fraser’s previous roles include principal policy adviser to former premier Alan Carpenter and chief of staff to both the former WA minister for health and the former WA minister for energy, science and innovation.
ATG appoints Van Uffelen CFO
Automotive Technology Group has appointed Michael van Uffelen as the company’s new chief financial officer, replacing Eileen Chan. Mr van Uffelen previously worked with Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, in Australia and internationally.
Clifford resigns from IronClad
Patrick Clifford has resigned as general manager, projects, for IronClad Mining, a subsidiary of Trafford Resources. Alister Hertel, the current operations manager, will act as the overall project manager until a replacement is found.
Charterhouse Partnership postings
Charterhouse Partnership has appointed two senior recruiters to its Perth team. Bailey Newton-Palmer joins as associate director, mining. Mr Newton-Palmer was previously with Hudson. Darren Laidlaw joins from BBT Oman as associate director, oil and gas.
Van Helden rejoins JLL Perth
Nick Van Helden has re-joined Jones Lang LaSalle’s Perth office as head of leasing. Mr Van Helden returns after five years based in Jakarta as the country head for the Jones Lang LaSalle Indonesian operations. Mr Van Helden initially joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 1997 and is now a regional director.
AGC role for Brown
AGC has appointed Steve Brown to the position of business development manager – mining and resources. Mr Brown has more than 35 years’ experience in the industry and 15 years’ experience in business development. He joins AGC from Downer EDI.
Harris joins ABAF
Toban Harris has been appointed WA coordinator of the Australia Business Arts Foundation. Ms Harris comes to AbaF after working with the Canadian mining company, Teck, the Department of Culture and the Arts and the WA Opera.
Hall’s Credo retail role
Workforce solutions provider and recruitment company Credo Group has appointed Matthew Hall as the national retail manager working with Australia’s largest brands such as Coles, Bunnings and Woolworths. Mr Hall joined Credo in April 2006 initially as an employee and then became an equity shareholder in May 2007.
Roosendaal to WASO
The West Australian Symphony Orchestra has appointed Melanie Roosendaal executive manager of corporate development. Ms Roosendaal joins WASO from Brownes Foods where she was sponsorship executive.
Best GM of Rockpool Bar & Grill
David Best has been appointed general manager of Rockpool Bar & Grill Perth, which is scheduled to open at Burswood Entertainment Complex in February 2011. Mr Best has spent the past 13 years in London, working in senior management roles with the Conran Restaurant Group including Mezzo, Coq d’Argent and the relaunch of Launceston Place.
