Mott chief at Hollywood

Peter Mott has joined Ramsay Health Care as chief executive officer of Hollywood Private Hospital. Mr Mott previously served as chief executive officer of St John of God Murdoch Hospital and as executive director for Perth, southern and regional for St John of God Health Care.

Campbell to Cleveland

Rod Campbell has joined Cleveland Mining as an adviser to assist with the company's acquisitions program. Mr Campbell will assist with the company's due diligence process, the sourcing and structuring of finance and acquisitions. Mr Campbell previously served in senior management roles with Fortescue Metals Group.

Liu joins 888

Kelly Liu has been appointed as company accountant of Perth-based boutique fund manager 888 Fund, which offers a tailored investment product for Western Australian migrants through the federal government's Significant Investor Visa program. Ms Liu was previously the assistant company secretary for Energy Metals.

Stanford joins Curtin

Michael Stanford has been appointed as pro chancellor of Curtin University's council for a three-year term. Dr Stanford is currently serving a second term on the university's council following his appointment in 2008. He is the chief executive officer of St John of God Health Care and a WA citizen of the year recipient.

Bryant to Barminco

Peter Bryant has been appointed as chief financial officer of mining contractor, Barminco.

Mr Bryant has previously served as a finance executive with Seven West Media and engineering group, GRD. Prior to the formation of Seven West Media, Mr Bryant served as CFO of West Australian Newspapers.

Tutt shifts CBH roles

Colin Tutt of CBH Group has been appointed as general manager, supply chain, after standing down from his role as general manager operations as part of a transition to retirement. Mr Tutt has served with CBH for over 40 years.

Thurston to GDI

Greg Thurston has joined GDI Property Group as asset manager in Perth. Mr Thurston has over 43 years of experience in the Perth office market. GDI is based in Sydney but manages property trusts across the country, including in WA.

Stevens to Cannings

Strategic communications firm Cannings Purple has appointed Bob Stevens as account manager - government relations. Mr Stevens joins the firm from the Office of the Minister for Mines and Petroleum, where he served as a principal policy adviser for 12 years to successive WA state government ministers.

Dearden joins Magnus

Magnus Investor Relations + Corporate Communication has appointed Rupert Dearden to its Perth office as associate director. Mr Dearden was previously partner, equity sales at Singer Capital Markets and head of small cap equity sales at Charles Stanley Securities in the UK.

New hires at TRG

Former Ipsos research director Fiona Scullion and team assistant Ellie Balson have joined brand and marketing consultancy The Right Group as senior consultant and marketing analyst, respectively. Sophie Journet has also joined the Perth team, as project coordinator.

O’Reilly chief at AAMIG

Trish O’Reilly has been appointed as chief executive officer of the Australia-Africa Mining Industry Group, which represents Australian and Australia-based exploration, mining, service and supply companies active in Africa.

Ms O'Reilly joined AAMIG as program development manager in September 2011, and before that was policy and planning manager at the WA Department for Communities.

Butterworth to CMW

CMW Geosciences has appointed Craig Butterworth as principal geotechnical engineer, to head its geotechnical design team. Mr Butterworth was previously senior geotechnical engineer at Golder Associates and geotechnical engineer at Pell Frischmann in the UK.

Leaker Partners hires

Law firm Leaker Partners has appointed Victoria Brasted as a senior associate in the property and commercial group, specialising in personal property securities. Adrian Di Menna has been appointed as a solicitor in the corporate group, focusing on transactions, acquisitions and general corporate advice. Leaker Partners specialise in corporate and business sector services, providing entity and operational advice as well as compliance assistance to directors and corporations.
