Cooper to leave PwC
Frank Cooper has foreshadowed his resignation from ‘big four’ accounting firm PwC. Mr Cooper has been a client service partner in the tax and legal services division at PwC’s Perth office for the past six years. Prior to joining PwC, he spent 25 years at Arthur Andersen. Mr Cooper will formally depart PwC at the end of the calendar year, however he will continue part-time from July 1 and finish in the office in early October. He continues with his roles as chair of the WA Football Commission, and member of the Major Performing Arts Board and the UWA Senate.
Brandon joins HLB Mann Judd
Mid-tier accounting firm HLB Mann Judd has appointed Guy Brandon as a partner to head its tax consulting division. Mr Brandon was previously a tax principal at Nissen Kestel Harford, and has also been a sessional lecturer at Curtin University.
Dundo joins Austral
Austral Risk Services has appointed Paul Dundo as a senior account executive. Mr Dundo previously worked at HIA and specialises in commercial insurance broking, specifically construction and home indemnity.
New magistrates for WA
Andrew Maughan and Dianne Scaddan have been appointed as magistrates of the Magistrates Court of Western Australia, from June 18, following the retirement of Kieran Boothman and the cessation of acting magistrate Terence McIntyre’s appointment on a full-time basis.
