TheScreeningLab (TSL) is a cloud-based software that can digitise any paper-based assessment. This automates the report writing process (which saves therapists valuable time), and automates the result analysis against normative data so to provide a graphical result relative to benchmarks as opposed to a raw value. It also includes a six-week rehabilitation program for any identified weak area, and tracks improvements over time. The platform collates data for the company to analyse group statistics and target injury and wellness programs to the most relevant departments.

TSL began within Ascend Physiotherapy to save time by automating the summary report produced after a musculoskeletal screening of elite athletes. The founders are Peter Gregory, Massimo Raballo and Vincent Sew Hee. Mr Gregory has been a physio for nearly 20 years, with experience with elite sporting teams, while Mr Raballo has more than two decades’ experience in consulting, customer profiling and advertising. Mr Sew Hee has worked in system development and project management for the past 10 years.

“Our goal is to become the ‘Google’ of assessments through a flexible tool that allows any kind of organisation to collect data from any kind of assessment of questionnaires,” Mr Gregory said.
