Albidon in trading halt

West Perth-based Albidon has been placed in a trading halt while the board undertakes a review of the company's financial position.

Securities in the the mineral exploration and development company will remain in pre-open pending the release of an announcement from the company.

This follows from the company deferring most aspects of the bankable feasibility study on its Chirundu uranium joint venture in October, which the company blamed on the instability of the global financial markets.

Shares in the company closed yesterday at 25 cents per share, down 2 cents, or 7.41 per cent on the previous day.
