IT services provider ASG Group has secured contracts worth $21 million for the delivery of its cloud-based services, and says it has a further $80 million worth of additional agreements in the pipeline.
ASG said it had been awarded a series of multi-year contracts with new clients including Melbourne University and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
The majority of signed and anticipated contracts are for the company's ‘new world’ cloud-based data management systems.
ASG managing director Geoff Lewis said the company was well-positioned to deliver services to government agencies looking for operational savings.
"ASG is recognised as the organisation with the proven track record in this field, with clients approaching us directly to assist them in realising savings and efficiencies," he said.
"As increased focus is placed on ICT to deliver in a cost effective manner, particularly as a result of the Commission of Audit findings, the traditional resource-intensive model is not sustainable."
ASG says it has also been named as the preferred tenderer in exclusive negotiations for further agreements worth more than $80 million.
The company's shares gained 1.5 cents to 41 cents at 11:53am WST.
