Perth-based Information Technology services provider ASG Group Ltd has signed a five year contract with the Victorian Metropolitan Ambulance Service for the provision of IT support and management services.

IT services provider ASG Group Ltd has been contracted to provide IT Service support and management services for the Victorian Metropolitan Ambulance Service .
The five-year contract will be managed and delivered out of ASG's Southern Region operation based in Melbourne.
Under the terms of the agreement, ASG will provide MAS with support services for their Service Desk, Desktop, Network and Server environments.
ASG General Manager Southern Region Rob Bild said the company was pleased to have secured the contract with MAS against strong competition.
"This contract with MAS - along with recent contract successes at Qantas and Ericcson - confirms ASG's ability to deliver large scale projects in the Managed Service market," said Mr Bild.
He said ASG was particularly delighted to have been selected by MAS to assist in providing such an important service to the community.
"We are thrilled to have been awarded the contract and look forward to working with the MAS team," he said.
MAS Chief Information Officer Cameron Crampton said that IT systems played a vital role in enabling MAS to deliver services to the Victorian community.
"The information technology and telecommunications environment within MAS is a critical function that supports the life saving work of paramedics," said Mr Crampton.
"Our use of information technology assists in the provision of clinical care from the moment someone dials 000 through to continuous improvement using evidence based research."
