Bunbury-based mining and earthmoving contractor Piacentini & Son will use biodiesel from South Perth's Australian Renewable Fuels across its entire fleet, with plans to purchase up to 8 million litres from the company in the next 12 months.
Piacentini & Son employs around 700 people in Bunbury, Gingin, Cataby and Eneabba, according to the WA Business News Book of Lists 2007.

Piacentini & Son in partnership with Australian Renewable Fuels are leaders in Environmental Sustainability
In October 2006, Piacentini & Son Pty Ltd ("Piacentinis") commenced buying biodiesel from Australian Renewable Fuels ("ARF").
Based on outstanding operational results, Piacentini will now use this renewable fuel across their entire fleet.
Piacentinis now have a 20% blend of ARF biodiesel in their diesel fuel and will purchase up to eight (8) million litres of biodiesel from Australian Renewable Fuels Picton over the next twelve months. Piacentinis report very positive results for economy, power and maintenance.
Piacentinis are now working with ARF to supply biodiesel into their Northern Operations based at Gingin, Cataby and Eneabba.
