Evans joins KPMG KPMG has appointed banker, David Evans, director in its risk advisory services practice in Perth. Mr Evans joins the firm from his former post as chief manager for Westpac Fiji Islands, where he was also president of the Fiji Australia Business Council. Healthway appoints Malone David Malone has been appointed executive director of Healthway. Mr Malone was chief executive of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has owned and managed physiotherapy practices in Perth. Neil Guard left the post in June to take on the role of executive director of the Drug and Alcohol office. Bird to Carnarvon Petroleum Robert Bird has been appointed as new ventures manager for Carnarvon Petroleum. Dr Bird is a geophysicist/geologist with 23 years’ international oil and gas experience. He will now lead Carnarvon’s review of opportunities within Thailand and nearby countries. New LESANZ chair Licensing Executives Society of Australia and New Zealand has appointed Simone Williams as new chairman of the society. Ms Williams wants to lift the profile of Lesanz and strengthen its position as an association of opinion leaders. Senior moves at GHD GHD has appointed Jozef Panak (top left) as group manager interior design. The newly created hydrogeology group comes under the authority of Bradley Van Blomstein (top right). Gerrie Le Roux has been appointed as group manager tailings. Cheir new to Burswood role Denise Cheir has been appointed as Burswood’s public relations manager. Ms Cheir has experience in strategic communications, crisis management, stakeholder relations and media and publicity. New role for Morris Steve Morris has been appointed as head of private clients, Australia at Patersons Securities Ltd. Mr Morris joined the firm in 2004 as the branch manager of the Sydney office and progressed to state manager role for Victoria in 2007. Prescott Securities grows Frank Sciarrone (top left), Matt McCarney (top right), Steven Bell (below left) and Tim Flavell have all been appointed advisers and authorised represen-tatives at Prescott Securities’ recently established Perth office. St Vincent de Paul president Clement Astruc has been appointed state president (Western Australia) of the St Vincent de Paul Society, replacing Genevieve De Souza, who has served in the role since 2005.
