AHG expands dealership lineup

Automotive Holdings Group has expanded its retail lineup with the addition of a Mitsubishi dealership in Rockingham and a Hino dealership in Dandenong.

Automotive Holdings Group Ltd is pleased to announce 2 developments in the company's automotive retailing division.

New Dealership - Rockingham Mitsubishi

AHG has grown its Western Australian dealership group to 25 with the establishment of a new Mitsubishi dealership in Rockingham.

Rockingham Mitsubishi is located in Perth's burgeoning south west corridor in a brand new dealership facility due for completion in March 2007.

AHG Chief Executive Officer Bronte Howson said he was pleased to be involved in this development from the ground up.

"The Rockingham region is one of the fastest growing areas in Australia and I am excited at the opportunity Rockingham Mitsubishi presents to AHG," said Mr Howson.

"This dealership will contribute to the Group's profitability and I see this development as an opportunity to expand our market share in the strong Western Australian economy."

Prestige Hino - Official Opening

Prestige Hino, AHG's flagship Hino truck dealership in Dandenong, Victoria, will be officially opened today.

The $25 million development is located on a 20,000sq.m. site on Princes Highway and includes a $15 million dealership complex and a floor plan investment of more than $8 million.

The modern, purpose-built dealership houses new and used truck sales, service and parts.

Mr Howson said AHG's relationship with Hino Australia was strengthened considerably by this development.

"Prestige Hino is a stand alone franchise and this reflects AHG's confidence in the Hino brand".

The Minister for Industry and State Development, Victoria, Mr Theo Theophanous, will open the dealership together with Hino Motors Limited President, Shoji Kondo.

Steve Lotter, Hino Motors Chief Operating Officer said Hino was delighted with the scale and quality of the new Prestige Hino dealership.

"AHG has done an outstanding job developing this site, which is the biggest Hino dealership in Australia and has set a new standard internationally in terms of contemporary, modern dealership facilities on a large scale," said Mr Lotter.
