Global procurement and supply chain manager ADG Global Supply has won a three year, $25 million-plus contract with Traverse Drilling International.
Under the deal, Perth-based ADG will manage Traverse's sourcing, purchasing, industrial supply, logistics and supply chain management activities.
Traverse Drilling commercial director Rob Thurston said ADG would help it increase its own operational efficiency by streamlining supply and service.
"Their global reach, industry knowledge and advanced systems are capabilities that Traverse could not replicate in our current growth phase," Mr Thurston said.
"ADG's ability to deliver a customised supply chain model based on an understanding of our business was essential to Traverse signing this long-term strategic arrangement."
ADG managing director John Mancini said the contract was in line with the company's objective to provide fully integrated end-to-end supply chain solutions.
"We are well equipped to support Traverse Drilling on a global scale to meet its operational, procurement and supply chain requirements in Papua New Guinea and other developing regions," Mr Mancini said.
"Our offer provides an immediate solution allowing Traverse Drilling to concentrate on its core competency, being drilling, whilst providing them with proven cost savings and seamless operational effectiveness.
"In June 2010 we announced a new strategy based on achieving sustainable revenue and profitable growth by enhancing internal capabilities, systems and processes.
"Our focus is on establishing medium to long term contract arrangements in our core market within the resource sector.
"The signing of this three year contract, worth $25 million, is testament to ADG delivering on its strategy which fundamentally changes the way we do business."
