JUST like winery tours give wine buffs plenty of opportunity to indulge their passion with a variety of products, the same can be said for golf tours. While they’re not quite as mainstream, golf tours provide a similar environment, albeit for people who love golf more than wine. Westralia Golf Tours puts together tailored tours, some lasting as long as seven days, and include trips to Secret Harbour Golf Club, Joondalup Golf Resort, The Vines, The Golf Club Kennedy Bay and Lake Karrinyup Golf Club. After a day on the green, tour participants then spend the night in a four- or five-star resort, often located within the golf course. But if seven days sounds like it will stretch the schedule, Westralia is also launching a new concept for busy executives. Tailored more for executives visiting WA on business trips, the tour operator says it can arrange trips to the world-class courses, with tee times, motorised buggies, transport to and from a city hotel and they’ll even throw in a playing partner (if required). The seven day package costs $1,410 while the one-day program is $200 per course.
