In his role as managing director, Stuart Manifold is responsible for the operation and sustainable development of Risktec Australasia, a premium provider of emergency management and associated safety critical training to the domestic and international oil and gas industry.
Based in Perth, Mr Manifold is directly responsible for all international operations, both permanent (Jakarta and Azerbaijan) and temporary (Myanmar, Georgia, Malaysia, India, Singapore and Vietnam).
The company provides client-specific training to organisations, customised for each individual facility, and Mr Manifold has successfully negotiated long-term contracts with many major global companies including BP, Premier Oil, Transocean, BHP Billiton and Petronas. Mr Manifold was responsible for the commissioning and running of the two international training offices in Jakarta and Azerbaijan, and there are plans to expand to Turkey and Iran in 2005.
The company employs 18 staff and has always endeavoured to source experienced national personnel as permanent employees in each overseas office. Mr Manifold’s career has been guided by an unwavering focus on providing clients’ with the highest standard of service possible. The highlight of his career was Risktec Australasia’s selection as a finalist in the 2004 Western Australia Industry and Export Awards.
The company sponsors the Ho Chi Minh City St Andrews Society, an organisation that works with orphanages and other worthy causes in rural Vietnam, and will also sponsor the St Andrews Society in Baku, Azerbaijan.
