In his role as the academic area head of entrepreneurship, Stephen Choo leads a team that has developed the Curtin Business School into the largest provider of entrepreneurship and small business in Australia. Through the introduction of innovative programs, which include work experience with real-life entrepreneurs, the school now educates and trains 400 undergraduate and post-graduate students in entrepreneurship every year. Mr Choo has a long history of entrepreneurship to draw on for his academic career. In Singapore he single-handedly set up an international food distribution business from scratch and is largely credited with introducing Mediterranean food to the local culinary scene.
