The Small Business Centre in Stirling and the Belmont Business Enterprise Centre are set to receive more funding as the federal government today launched a $2.2 million support program.
Federal Small Business Minister Craig Emerson said the funding will help the centres expand their advisory services to local businesses.
"The Stirling and Belmont centres are one-stop shops for local small businesses, or those thinking of starting a small business or looking to obtain advice," Mr Emmerson said.
"The centres will save small business operators and small business debutants from going place-to-place to get the legal, tax, accounting and marketing advice they need."
Stirling will receive $1.2 million over the next four years while Belmont will receive $1 million.
