PERTH-BASED national information and communications technology provider ASG Group has won a $2.2 million contract with the federal Finance and Administration Department. The contract, via recently acquired subsidiary Exceed Systems Integration, is to replace the department’s existing email, file, print management and directory services with a new best-practice environment. Exceed will also replace the department’s desktop and laptop standard operating environments with Microsoft applications. The contract includes a three-year support clause with the option for a two-year extension.The majority of the new environment is expected to be in place by early 2006. Earlier this year, ASG and partner Oracle Corp concluded contracts worth $67 million for the supply of corporate services business systems to the State Government.
