$15m development plan put on hold

A DECISION on a $15 million development has been deferred by council so the plans can be redesigned to a maximum plot ration of 1.49:1 on the site.

It is proposed the existing three storey building at 5-9 Emerald Street in West Perth, be demolished and a new five storey office building and eatery erected in its place. The site is also occupied by St Mary’s Church which is proposed to be integrated into the development.
