Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, Zainab Syed has lived, studied and worked in Romania, Yemen, Wales, England, the US and Australia. She is the founder of WORD INK & Pakistan Poetry Slam, a space to empower youth through writing and performance by regular workshops, lecture series and Pakistan's first and only national poetry slam.
