Will Banks has over 20 years of experience in the fintech and banking industry.
Born in England, Mr Banks has held senior leadership and executive roles in Europe and Australia with companies such as HSBC Investment Bank, Banco Santander, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Banking Group and IQ Option Europe.
In 2019, Mr Banks was the first migrant from Europe, and the first from the global fintech sector, to be granted permanent residency to Australia via the “Distinguishing Talent Visa Program”. He was selected for this rare and prestigious visa, due to his international reputation.
Mr Banks co-founded DayTek Capital, an Australian venture which was granted an AFS licence in approximately six months. The business developed a range of innovative and digitally advanced banking products and services, in both the fiat money and crypto space. He was also the founder and chief executive of Challenger Capital from February 2016 until his appointment as group chief operating officer of Credit Intelligence in May 2021.
