Warwick Calkin

Warwick Calkin has over 30 years of experience in information technology. Prior to working in the higher education sector, Mr Calkin held senior IT leadership roles in several industry verticals such as mining, (as chief information officer of South32, BHP Potash and BHP Diamonds), telecommunications (as general manager of platform services for Telstra), utilities, software development, and wagering & gaming. Mr Calkin had lived and worked in New Zealand, Australia, the Netherlands and Canada, and has worked in more than 20 other countries around the world. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a non-executive director of Carers WA, a not-for-profit organisation.
