Walter Staltari has over 20 years of corporate tax experience with a particular focus on the resources industry.
Mr Staltari was the director of tax at Newmont Asia Pacific and was involved in many aspects of tax including cross-border financing, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, inbound and outbound structuring, and the tax consolidation regime. He was also involved in developing best practice tax risk management systems and managing complex tax audits.
Mr Staltari has a strong knowledge of tax effect accounting within the appropriate USGAAP and AIFRS standards. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor.
