Virginia Briggs is an experienced advisor to the Australian property, development and infrastructure markets. She works closely with a number of private and government clients on large-scale complex real estate transactions spanning the development, sale, purchase and leasing of commercial, industrial, residential and retail developments, and infrastructure assets.
Ms Briggs joined MinterEllison in October 2007 and leads its infrastructure, construction and property line of business. She became acting chief executive and managing partner in March 2021.
Prior to MinterEllison, Ms Briggs spent over 17 years at DLA Piper where she was a partner, the trans-national practice director of real estate, and team leader of its real estate group in Sydney.
