With a Bachelor of Social Work from Curtin University and extensive experience in the community sector, Victor Crevatin oversees all of St Patrick’s Homeless and Housing programs. Understanding client’s needs and challenges and translating them into strategic and practical outcomes is paramount to his role and reflects a long-term commitment and proactive approach to making a difference in the community. His interest in the area commenced through a volunteering position in a Perth Crisis Youth Centre and rapidly expanded to include a range of roles predominately focusing on youth. Commencing his career with St Patrick’s in 2004, Mr Crevatin has worked at a ‘hands-on’ level across all areas of the organisation from the running of the emergency response and crisis management unit, through to human resources and senior management positions. He is responsible for St Patrick’s specialised Housing programs including Youth Place and Youth Housing, Street to Home, Housing Services Facilities and Mental Health Housing Support. With a personal vision to realise a goal of affordable housing for all Australians, his knowledge and insight adds significant value to local and statewide forums and has included guest lecturing at TAFE, Curtin University and a number of schools across Western Australia.
