Tricia Kingston is a Chartered Accountant, CPA, Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), and an associate of The Tax Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Economics and Law) from University of Queensland and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA. She is a licensed public practitioner, registered tax and ASIC agent. Ms Kingston has extensive experience working on global mergers and acquisitions across Australia, North America, South America, South Africa and the UK. Prior to joining Pitcher Partners, she was a partner of a chartered accounting firm where she specialised in strategic planning, business optimisation, corporate structures and compliance services. Prior to public practice, Ms Kingston held a number of senior financial and commercial roles within BHP where she led its due diligence of the base metals business on the merger with Billiton, and was BHP Iron Ore's accounting finance lead for the proposed $116bn iron ore production joint venture with Rio Tinto, and subsequently BHP’s $735m acquisition of Leighton’s Henry Walker Eltin assets and resources.
