Tracey Brand is a long-time advocate for Aboriginal health and social support in remote communities. A descendent of the Arrernte people, Ms Brand has over 20 years of executive management experience in the Aboriginal community controlled and public sectors. Prior to being appointed chief executive of Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Aboriginal Corporation in April 2020, Ms Brand was the general manager of the health services division at one of the largest Aboriginal Community Controlled health services, the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, where she has held the role since 2014. She has also worked in a range of senior executive positions including in local government and the Northern Territory Government Department of the Chief Minister.
