Tony Curry spent over 20 years on a number of school boards and at a senior board level for the Disability Services Commission of Western Australia (2007 to 2012), the Edmund Rice Centre in Mirrabooka (2002 to 2007) and the Perth Archdiocesan Catholic Social Justice Council (1996 to 2001).
Mr Curry was appointed director of school improvement at Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) in January 2014. He was coordinator of its leadership team from 2001 to 2003 where he was involved in the appointment, induction, professional development and review of principals. Prior to joining CEWA, he was the principal of Mercy College in Koondoola for ten years and Our Lady of Grace School (North Beach) for eight years.
Mr Curry is a published author and has a Master of Education, Master of Educational Administration, Doctor of Education and Master of Religious Education.
