Tony Cooke

Tony Cooke was elected Secretary of the Trades of Labour Council in June 1995 and completed two terms in this position. His experience and background has resulted in him being a nominee on a range of policy making bodies including the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Commission, and the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission. He has also been involved in a wide variety of legal review and advocacy settings including heavy involvement in legislation and parliamentary processes. From April 2011 to December 2013, Mr Cooke was executive officer of Gumala Investments, as trustee for the General Gumala Foundation.
