Tim Allan has more than 18 years of experience including as an operations manager, corporate partner manager & acting chief executive. He has worked in partnership with community organisations, government, donors, foundations, philanthropists, corporations & individuals. At United Way, Mr Allan has sole responsibility of developing the company's Corporate Volunteering program, creating an income stream from it, managing the business units profit & loss, and the social media marketing strategy. He successfully managed long term stakeholder relations including through changes in business cycle & in challenging economic times. He also led the recruitment, screening, selection & training process for several thousand volunteers. Mr Allan led & instigated a wide range of fundraising activities including workplace giving campaigns, corporate donations, sponsorships, grants & general fundraising campaigns - all combining to raise $1m since 2013.
