Terry Butts is an avid animal lover and the brainchild behind Pawba, a rideshare company for pets and its owners. Mr Butts grew up on a farm where his mum bred St Bernards, his dad bred Shetland Ponies, and he was surrounded by a menagerie of furry and feathered friends.

Following the commodities crash in 2015, Mr Butts left the corporate world and became a rideshare drive. Within six weeks, his new small business Perth Pet Taxi in Western Australia was up and running. In April 2019, Mr Butts joined forces with Redi Apps software development company to pioneer the world’s first dedicated pet transport app. Their partnership has expanded the app into a national pet rideshare platform.
