Tamica D'Uva has been with Lavan Legal since 2004 and was appointed partner in the construction and infrastructure team in July 2019. Ms D'Uva specialises in construction law and has extensive experience in representing parties in large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects throughout Australia. She drafts and negotiates bespoke and Australian Standards construction contracts; prepares tender documents; conducts risk analysis and preparation of departures for tender responses and negotiations; represents parties at the Supreme Court, District Court and State Administrative Tribunal in construction disputes; prepares and responds to rapid adjudications under the Construction Contracts Act; and represents parties at arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. She was also the former WA Director of the National Association of Women in Construction.
