Sydney Bone has had a long career in institutional investment.
He is the executive director of infrastructure fund manager CP2 and prior to that, he was chief executive and director of the Victorian Funds Management Corporation. Mr Bone was also managing director of Baring Asset Management, Asia Pacific and a principal at actuarial consultancy Towers Perrin.
He is a member of the advisory board of the Australian Centre for Financial Studies and is chair of the Funds Management and Superannuation Research Committee. Mr Bone is also a member of the advisory committee of the Paul Woolley Centre at the University of Technology Sydney and chair of the Trinity College Investment Committee. He was previously a member of the Russell Investments advisory committee and director of the Canadian-based International Centre for Pension Management.
Mr Bone has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Melbourne, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
