Susan Peters is currently a member and co-chair of "The Healing Task force" in Halls Creek. Ms Peter is currently
working for Mindibingu Aboriginal Corporation as a mentor, and community worker. She is currently also a director of Ambooriny Burru Foundation.
Previously, she worked as a "Beyond Gambling Worker" with Jungarni Jutiya and as a Project Officer with Kimberley Language Resource Centre. Ms Peters is heavily involved in the Halls Creek community, participating in lore and culture and learning from Elders (traditional medicines, sorry business, and traditional healing, and language), which she sees as her greatest learning, education and self awareness.
