Susan Cantwell has a long history with St John of God Health Care, having worked at St John of God Murdoch Hospital from 2007 to 2008 and then as the director of nursing at St John God Mount Lawley Hospital from 2014 to 2016, group manager of workforce strategy implementation and systems design in January 2016, and chief executive of social outreach in June 2019. Ms Cantwell has a broad range of executive experience in the public and not-for-profit Catholic sector within metropolitan and regional locations across several states. She has held senior leadership roles in a variety of clinical specialties including mental health. Ms Cantwell is a registered nurse and has qualifications in Business Administration, Catholic Leadership and Culture, and holds an Adjunct Associate Professor appointment with the University of Notre Dame.
