Steven Bliim has over 12 years of experience in Australia and the US, and was responsible for capital planning and forecasting, treasury management, global financial reporting and statutory compliance. Since joining Covata in 2012, he has played a key role in the group’s expansion into the US, UK and Europe, along with the reverse acquisition of Prime Minerals and subsequent re-listing of Covata on the ASX in November 2014. Mr Bliim led due-diligence and subsequent integration of the CipherPoint business following its acquisition in August 2017. Prior to joining Covata, Mr Bliim worked in business services and tax advisory for over seven years, consulting primarily to small-to-medium enterprises and primary production businesses. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of South Australia.
