Steve Brown is a registered psychologist with a Masters degree and PhD in Organisational Psychology. His PhD research area was on the psychological wellbeing of nurses and clerical employees in the Western Australia health system, and the personal & organisational factors that help and hinder wellbeing. Mr Brown has specialised expertise in psychological resilience, emotional intelligence, mental health in the workplace, professional coaching, leadership development and psychometric assessments.
Mr Brown also has extensive experience in cognitive and behavioural approaches towards workplace health and safety, and has delivered programs in South Africa, Turkey, New Zealand and across Australia. His key interests are leadership and organisational development, employee wellbeing and the relationships between these factors, with a view to advancing the wellbeing of individuals, teams and departments which will increase job satisfaction and improve overall organisational performance.
