
Stephen Moorcroft is an expert in the briefing and strategic direction of large and complex commercial workplace interior design projects. He is a UK-qualified Chartered Architect and has worked in London, Sydney and Perth.
Mr Moorcroft has been in a design role since 1997 and specialises in commercial workplace since 2004. He has also led project and design discipline teams of up to 23 people, managing up to 25 projects at one time. Mr Moorcroft has a varied architectural experience including heritage residential and base build pharmaceutical laboratory projects. Since 2004, he has increasingly focused on commercial workplace, both in consultant design and client design management roles.
Mr Moorcroft has been the principal of interior architecture at Architectus since March 2023. Prior to that, he spent over 4.5 years with Hames Sharley and was a principal and workplace portfolio leader. Mr Moorcroft was involved in leading the design teams for activity-based workplaces at Rio Tinto, Arup and the Government Department of Finance in Perth, a global headquarters in Sydney and an EMEA headquarters in London for Macquarie Group, a European headquarters for travel organisation Sabre Holdings, and a client merchandising and screening suite for Hasbro. All of these addressed each client's significant challenges in workplace cultural change, technology integration, collaboration and future flexibility.
