Stephen Higgs AM has previously held a series of board roles including at listed Australian companies such as Rural Press, Primary Healthcare and Freedom Nutritional Products. He was a former chair of Orlando Wines, and director of Leigh Mordon, IPAC Securities and Ausoft. In addition Mr Higgs worked for 20 years with UBS and its predecessors in corporate finance advice and the private equity market. He is chair of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Australia and his community roles included working as a councillor at St Andrew's College at Sydney University and trustee of Redkite (formerly the Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children in Australia). In 2015, Mr Higgs received the Queen's Birthday Honours as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia for significant service to community health through leadership roles with medical research organisations.
