Stephen Gerlach

Stephen Gerlach AM is a company director and corporate advisor, and chancellor of Flinders University since 2010. He was chair of Santos for eight years until his retirement in December 2009, chair of Elders (formerly Futuris Corporation), and a partner of Adelaide legal firm Finlaysons for 23 years including as managing partner from 1985 to 1991.

Mr Gerlach has also been actively involved in community and professional associations and was the inaugural chair of Foodbank South Australia from 1999 to 2014.

In 2009, Mr Gerlach was awarded Member of the Order of Australia for services to the provision of social welfare programs through Foodbank South Australia and to the community.
