Simon Buswell-Smith is a geologist with over 13 years of mining and exploration experience, predominantly in Western Australia. He has experience in project evaluation, resource estimation, open cut mining across multiple commodities including, gold, nickel, and copper.
Mr Buswell-Smith held a senior position and led a team as part of the of exploration department at Kin Mining where he was employed for 4 years, and played a key role in the transition and growth of the company. He also contributed to the discovery of the 1Moz gold Leonora Gold Project, and delivering upgrades to resources and to reserves on key deposits.
Mr Buswell-Smith holds two degrees in Geology and Environmental Biology, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
